If you are a full-time employee working 40 hours per week, or a part-time employee working a minimum of 24 hours per week, you and your dependents are eligible for MFA benefits. Physicians and Executives are eligible for benefits on their date of hire, while Staff are eligible on the first day of the month following the date of hire.

We offer four comprehensive medical plan options through UMR to meet the needs of our employees. Prescription drug benefits through CVS are automatically included when you enroll in a MFA medical plan. Additionally, the GW MFA has an onsite pharmacy at 2150 Pennsylvania Ave, First Floor. The GW Pharmacy fills employee prescriptions quickly, and some prescriptions are discounted and some generics are free for employees. The GW Pharmacy can also deliver prescriptions straight to your home, free of charge, to zip codes within the beltway, or for a small fee outside of the beltway.

We offer comprehensive dental coverage options through MetLife. The plans also include 100% coverage for preventive care exams and yearly cleanings with in-network providers. Both dental plans also covers orthodontia expenses for your minor dependents.

We offer vision coverage options through MetLife. The plan includes coverage for routine eye care expenses, including examinations and eyewear.
